Gunite Pools Versus Fiberglass Pools

There is a debate as to whether or not a fiberglass pool or a gunite (concrete) pool is better in terms of appearance. However, this question isn’t nearly as cut and dry as it sounds. In fact, both pools can be made to look great, depending on a variety of factors.

One factor that affects how nice your pool looks is the deck and patio area. This area can greatly beautify your pool, whether you choose to go with stone, concrete, or wood. 3. Color 

The color of your pool is a big deal because it will be shown clearly through the water. The fiberglass pools have a variety of blue hues that range from light to dark. There are also white, gray, tan, and black color options. Gunite pools also have a wide variety of blues, grays, and whites. Both have different patterns that you can look at and choose from such as marble, water patterns, stone designs, etc.

4. Shape 

It is important to make sure that the size and shape of your pool fits well into the designated area. Fiberglass pools come in a variety of premade shapes, such as different forms of rectangles, ovals, kidneys, and other freeform shapes that are custom made. Gunite pools come in all of these shapes, as well as any custom design that fits into your allotted pool area.
